As I promised here are the two new creatures,
It's a bit tiring make all this little creatures with all of these endless details of them.
I am going to take a break from doing them for a while.
I have few ideas for new projects.........
well I will write more soon.

The alien and the lost shoes

The painted doll found the new slippers.

It was a bit large to her size.

She wanted her booties back.

But the alien crochet actor found them and thought maybe he can use them at his show.


So she gave him the new slippers.

And got her booties back.

Playful creature and new slippers

I yet have the vintage hairy yarn so I made new creature,
These creature are fun to crochet so I will post two other member of his family soon, I thought that I should wait and post him with the other but I couldn't wait.

The two other waiting half crocheting since I had to make this slippers.
It wasn't very complicate this time as it was at the previous times, I became more practiced so it was easier and faster, till I found out that I made stupid mistake and sew on a wrong way at one of the sides sheets.
I unpicked but it was yet remarkable so I had to unpicked all the sheet, and sew it again when the shoe was almost done.
It was nerve racking, but well here they are.

dolls conference

I haven’t much time this week, I am trying to find part time job, It’s not easy when all I would like to do is to stay at home to sew and crochet dolls.
They had a conference of their own, I don't now what they were discussing but here are the photos that they let me shoot yesterday.

Creature nose

The new creature smell something familiar.

He got closer in order to examine it.

Behind the hillock he found a friend.

The friend invited him to play, and gave him a lift on his sled.
The area was a bit different from what the other craeture had in his mind.
They came back and I had great news to tell...
The second creature was invited to join a wonderful overseas band of creatures, toys and other friends, that managed by frogmuseum2.

The little creature with the blue eyes helped him to pack himself.

And came back to examine the yarn from yesterday.

The new hairy and thoughtful creatures

Their eyes which made by glass beads makes them thoughtful,
Their hairy long ears which was made by vintage yarns make them very playful.
I found this yarn in a hidden store which is located at an old apartment.
It's very close to my home, it's located in a small street close to Levinsky market which is the spices market of Tel Aviv.
The yarns are placed on old metal shelves (warehouses like).
The owner is an old man and often when you come in you should wake him up.
He would jump with fear and will hardly answer to your questions.
When you wish to pay he will weight the yarns in a scales with iron weights at one side.
The store is open only between 9am to 2.30am and if it's too rainy or too hot it will probably be closed.
you can’t arrive there unless you know the exact address because there is only hidden placard
at the main entrance of the building, which is an apartment building.
He has many kinds of yarns: synthetics, ordinary acrylic, the highlights for me are vintage cotton yarns from the seventies or even earlier.
I have this yarns for a few months but I didn't know how to use them, till these creatures appeared suddenly, and asked for something special to their ears.
It was perfect for that purpose.

Bored dogs

There wasn't any good party at bobilina studio for a long time, and the dogs became bored by their ordinary routine.

They decided to make something.........

All the dogs of the studio were invited.

Each dog found a someone to dance with.

Then they changed

It was fun.

The cloth dogs found the crochet ones as a great partners to dance with.
and the crochet dogs found the cloth dogs as a wonderful partners too.

Dogs at the river

The crochet dogs are finally following the crochet creatures and going out on their journey. The creatures journey down to the river was extremely successfull.
Firstly, they were invited by Giovanni Sarani to visit Venice when they arrived to his myspace page.
It was a great fun for them, and today they also received a great news.

The two creatures were announced that they are going to cross the Ocean on their way for a new home at the United states.

It makes the crochet dogs jealous.
They were so jealous that Giovanni had to wrote me every day to tell me how restless they are at his page.
I didn't know what to do till Giovanni had the brilliant idea to let the dogs go to a boat journey by their own.
Today finally was a great weather for that kind of journey.

They departed at the river............

They had enough time to rest on the grass.

and these two left their clothes off on the boat and jumped into the cold water.

It was so fun.

So they even didn't notice what was going on behind their back.
